Pregnancy Care / Webster Technique

Chiropractic care can be delivered to patients at all stages of pregnancy. The Webster technique involves the assessment and treatment of the bones and soft tissues of the pelvis. It aims to improve joint alignment and restore balance in the muscles and ligaments of the pelvis, thereby improving fetal positioning leading to birth.

Dry Needling & Acupuncture

Dry needling and acupuncture are used to help reduce pain, inflammation, muscle tension and to improve the function of the nervous system.

Acupuncture is often paired with chiropractic treatment as it effectively addresses the myofascial component of an injury. Myofascial release, trigger point techniques and electro-acupuncture are commonly used in our practice.

Flexion-Distraction Therapy

A manual therapy utilizing a specialized chiropractic table that mobilizes the joints and soft tissues of the lumbar spine. It effectively reduces symptoms of sciatica by decreasing nerve compression from bulging or herniated discs.

TENS / Interferential

Electrical current applied to the injured area through adhesive pads placed on skin. This therapy is designed to reduce muscle pain, tension and spasm.

Ultrasound

Sound waves applied to the injured area in order to reduce inflammation and speed up healing.

Myofascial Release

Reduces muscle tension, pain and stiffness of the injured area. Techniques include Thumper massage, trigger point therapies, dry needling, Graston/Tool assisted techniques and stretching.

Custom Orthotics

Custom orthotic devices are used to correct biomechanical imbalances in the foot. This results in improved gait and reduction of foot, lower limb and lower back pain.
