Claudie Melançon

Claudie Melançon, a native of Timmins, is an accomplished osteopath dedicated to improving the health and well-being of her patients. Born and raised in Timmins, she has a deep connection to the community she serves. Claudie is bilingual, fluent in both English and French, making her accessible and accommodating to a diverse range of patients.

Claudie earned her degree in osteopathy in 2018 from the Collège d’études Osteopathique de Montréal, also known as the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Continuing her studies, she conducted a thesis focusing on the benefits of Osteopathic Manual Treatment for the elderly. In May 2021, Claudie successfully defended her thesis in front of a jury panel to receive her Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (D.O.M.P.). Claudie is a registered member of the OAO (Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners).

Claudie is passionate about health and wellness and loves encouraging her patients to reach their optimal health. She recognizes a person as an integrated whole; physical, social, emotional and spiritual. With expertise spanning a wide scope of practice; including geriatrics, sports injuries, obstetrics/gynecology, digestive issues, and craniosacral therapy. Her goal is to ease restrictions and pains, reduce swelling, improve tissue mobility, and promote proper function of the whole body.
